PLEASURE. Friend or Foe?

PLEASURE. Friend or Foe?

I’m compelled to remind you about a crucial fact about being a woman: We are hardwired for pleasure.

Energetically, feminine energy is the flow, motion and aliveness of life force. Biologically, in our sex organs, we have 1000s more nerve endings than men (that alone pretty much says it all).

So – what are you doing to engage with pleasure?

Pleasure gets a bad rap. Just like sensuality.

These days when you say sensuality, most people automatically think sex (this is a mindset/life above the neck issue. Remember Tip 1 from the Dare to Love Yourself series? ).

Sensuality is:
sensualitydefinition

It’s fleshly, of the body.

When you consciously engage in the senses you are magnetized in your body; your Oracle – aka Life Below the Neck. Honestly, it’s not that complicated. You most likely have not thought about it this way or put it into practice in a way that EMPOWERS your life, instead of causing shame around it.

When you are living TURNED ON, filled with pleasure – your life becomes BIG, exciting, powerful – moment by moment.

It’s a practice. One that can feel scary at first if you’ve kept it at bay for a long time. However, once you start dipping into the concept of pleasure, you’ll feel more at ease acting on it. And once you start acting on it, you’ll become accustomed to its presence. And once you become accustomed to its presence, you’ll experience life more fully, with enthusiasm and confidence.

Now – doesn’t that just sound mojolicious?!

So m’dear, what one thing/experience/thought/action brings you pleasure? And how will you incorporate that into your life this week? Share your comments below.

Sensually yours,
